The establishment of this center has two main missions. The first is research and publication, including studies and publications related to elder education and active aging. The second is HRD, including the cultivation of seed personnel for the promotion of elder education, pre-retirement education, and middle-aged and elderly employment promotion act. Based on the aforementioned missions, the development goal of the center is to establish models for elder education curriculum, instructional design of elderly, effectiveness evaluation research, and the re-application of human resources in Taiwan.
